Kits

Kits, this is perhaps the most frequently asked question at the moment. Before we bought the business the stock of complete kits was run down to zero and not restocked. There are various kit components in stock that with a little additional manufacture will yield a few kits. Details of these will follow in due course; this is the plan for the short term.

Once we are familiar and confident with the running of the core areas of the business we will begin kit production in earnest. However, we will not restock the entire range. Instead we intend to produce kits in batches when we have established there is sufficient demand. This is likely to be in a batch of 15 to 20, anyone with a particular interest in a kit is welcome to register that with us and go on the list. When we have sufficient orders to commit to manufacture we will more than likely seek a deposit. We must emphasize that it is very unlikely that any kits will be manufactured within the next 4 to 6 months.

We've yet to decide on pricing, there will be an increase over the last kit catalogue as Alan himself had an increase across the rest of the range (which wasn't applied to the kits) before we bought the business.
